Chef Secrets & Tips

  • Choose Sweetened Juices: Unsweetened cranberry juice or pomegranate juice can make the punch too tart. A juice blend or cocktail works best.
  • Keep It Fizzy: Add the ginger beer just before serving to retain its effervescence.
  • Non-Alcoholic Version: Swap vodka for additional juice to create a family-friendly cranberry holiday punch.

Serving Suggestions

Pair this festive drink with savory appetizers, try serving it alongside warm, cheesy appetizers like Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, Tomato Mozzarella Bruschetta, Monte Cristo Sliders, or Deep Fried Scorpion Tails.

Commonly Asked Questions

  • Can I prepare this punch in advance? Yes, mix the base ingredients ahead of time and add the ginger beer right before serving to keep it fresh and fizzy.
  • What can I do with leftover Jingle Juice? Store leftover punch in the fridge for up to three days. Stir in fresh ginger beer before serving.
  • Can I substitute the vodka? Absolutely! For a kid-friendly option, simply leave out the vodka or replace it with extra juice.

Storage Tips

Store leftover Jingle Juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator. If serving leftovers, refresh the punch by stirring in a splash of fresh ginger beer to restore its fizz.

Notes

I use a pomegranate-cranberry juice blend. This drink contains sugar and other fruit juices which makes it sweet and pleasant to drink. Do not try to use plain unsweetened cranberry or pomegranate juices, they’ll be much too tart.
Can’t find a pomegranate-cranberry juice blend? Try a cranberry juice cocktail instead.
For non-alcoholic version, substitute vodka for more cranberry-pomegranate juice blend.
