If you like turtles, but are afraid of making candy…be afraid no more! These are the cheater's version and I'm proud to make them every holiday…they get rave reviews and are super easy! They're fun to make with the kiddos too.
First, line a large baking sheet with foil and place mini pretzels all over to cover the pan.
Next, unwrap Rolo candies and place one on each pretzel. Place baking sheet in a 250* preheated oven for 4 minutes.
Remove pan from oven and immediately press a pecan half into each candy.
Now comes the waiting…
Allow turtles to cool completely. I usually rush them into the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes to move things along. Once they're cool, they will be ready to devour!
That's it!
Make them for your next holiday get together…everyone will think you're a genius!
