Mix the Pimento Cheese

    1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, 1 ½ cups Velveeta processed cheese, 4 ounces cream cheese, 1 small clove garlic, 1 green onion, 1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimentos, ½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Stir thoroughly until well combined and the mixture is evenly blended.
  • For a smoother texture, you can mash slightly with the back of a spoon or use a food processor to pulse into the consistency you desire.

Store for Later

  • Transfer the pimento cheese to an airtight container.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld before serving.

Notes

  • Avoid pre-shredded cheeses as they have anti-caking ingredients that will alter the texture and flavor of this recipe.
Substitutions:
