Ingredients

Instructions

Chill the Glass

  • Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for a few minutes, or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.

Muddle the Fruit

  • In a cocktail shaker, add the sliced peach. Use a muddler to press and mash the fruit until it releases its juices.
    ½ ripe peach

Add Liquids and Ice

  • Fill the shaker with ice.
  • Pour in vodka, Peachtree schnapps, orange liqueur, and fresh lemon juice.
1½ ounces Grey Goose vodka, ¾ ounce Peachtree schnapps, ½ ounce orange liqueur, ½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

Shake and Strain

  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously until the drink is thoroughly chilled.
  • Discard the ice from the glass if using ice water, then strain the cocktail into the chilled martini or coupe glass.

Garnish and Serve

  • Garnish with a fresh peach slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Peach ripeness matters: Use a ripe, juicy peach for the best flavor. If your peach is a little firm, try letting it sit on the counter for a day or two to soften up.
  • No fresh peaches? Frozen peach slices work in a pinch—just thaw them first. Avoid canned peaches in syrup unless you rinse them well and adjust the sweetness.
  • Make it sweeter or stronger: Prefer a little more kick? Add a splash more vodka. Like it sweeter? A touch of simple syrup or peach nectar will do the trick.
  • Don’t skip the lemon juice: It balances the sweetness and brightens the whole drink. Lime juice can work too, but the flavor will shift slightly.
  • Want to batch it? You can mix the muddled peaches, vodka, schnapps, liqueur, and lemon juice ahead of time (multiply by servings needed). Chill, shake individual portions with ice, and strain when ready to serve.
