Ingredients

Instructions

Mix the Sauce

  • In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire.
1 cup ketchup, 4 tablespoons horseradish, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 teaspoons Tabasco hot sauce, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Whisk everything together until it’s smooth, creamy, and well blended.

Chill and Serve

  • For the best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve cold with boiled or fried shrimp, oysters, crab claws, or whatever seafood calls your name.

Notes

Substitutions:
Horseradish: Freshly grated gives more punch, but jarred prepared horseradish works just fine. Adjust to taste—more if you like a nose-tingling kick, less if you prefer it mild.
Hot Sauce: Any brand you love will do—Tabasco, Crystal, or even sriracha for a twist.
Lemon Juice: Fresh is best, but bottled will do in a pinch.
Storage:
• Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
• This sauce doesn’t freeze well—best made fresh and enjoyed soon after.
