Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Patrón Reposado tequila (or your favorite tequila)
  • 1 ounce Disaronno Amaretto
  • 1/3 ounce Cointreau orange liqueur
  • 2 ounces fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice

  • Ultrafine Caster Sugar (for rim)
  • Ice

Instructions

To Prepare the glass:

  1. Rub a wedge of lime or orange around the rim.
  2. Dip the rim of the glass into a shallow plate filled with ultra fine caster sugar and set aside.

To Mix the drink:

  1. Add all ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake well to combine.
  2. Strain the mixture with a fine mesh strainer into a prepared ice-filled margarita glass.
  3. Garnish with fresh orange and lime wedges.
