Cut and Arrange

  • Slice each buttered bread half into sticks about 2 inches wide.

Bake Until Golden

Notes

Substitutions:
  • Butter: Use unsalted butter and add a pinch of salt to taste.
  • Garlic: Substitute with ½ teaspoon garlic powder if fresh garlic isn’t available.
  • Parmesan: Grated Romano or Asiago can be used in place of Parmesan.
  • Parsley: Dried parsley can work in a pinch—use 1 teaspoon dried in place of fresh.
Storage:
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 day or in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5–7 minutes until warmed through.
Freezing:
  • Freeze buttered, unbaked bread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag. Bake directly from frozen at 400°F for 15–18 minutes.
