Ingredients

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.

Make the Seasoning Mixture

  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper until well combined.

Coat the Bread

  • Place the torn bread pieces into a large mixing bowl.
  • Drizzle the prepared oil mixture evenly over the bread.
  • Toss the bread gently to ensure every piece is well coated.

Bake the Croutons

  • Spread the coated bread pieces onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, allowing space between pieces for even baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the baking sheet, turn the croutons to expose the other sides, and return them to the oven.
  • Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.

Cool and Serve

  • Allow the croutons to cool completely on the baking sheet before serving or storing.
  • Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • Enjoy these croutons on salads, soups, or as a crunchy snack!

Notes

You may cut the bread into cubes if you would like a more store-bought crouton look.
