Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-low heat and add the bacon. Cook until it’s brown and crisp and most of the fat is rendered.
Stir in the onion and bell pepper and saute until the onions and peppers are soft, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the paprika, salt and pepper. Cook for another couple of minutes.
Stir in the vinegar, BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and molasses until combined.
Stir in the baked beans and bring the mixture to a boil, then turn off the heat.
Taste beans and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
If desired, lay a few strips of extra bacon across the top of the beans.
Place Dutch oven in preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
