Prepare the Baking Sheet

  • Preheat oven to 200°F.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prep the Pretzels

  • Place mini pretzels in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
    1 (16-ounce) bag mini pretzels

Make the Toffee Coating

  • In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup.
    1 cup brown sugar, ½ cup salted butter, ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  • Boil for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla and baking soda until fully combined.
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ teaspoon baking soda

Coat the Pretzels

  • Pour the hot toffee mixture over the pretzels.
  • Toss until evenly coated.
  • Add half of the toffee bits and toss again.
    1 (8-ounce) bag Heath toffee bits

Bake

  • Spread coated pretzels evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Finish

    • Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining toffee bits over the pretzels.
    • Allow pretzels to cool completely.
    • Break into small clusters once fully set.

    Notes
