The Best Banana Pudding Recipe

  • 1 (5.1-ounce) pkg Instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons banana liqueur
  • 6 bananas, sliced
  • 2 boxes Nilla wafers
  • 1 small Cool Whip, thawed
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the pudding mix, sweetened condensed milk and 3 cups regular milk and continue beating until smooth and well combined.
  3. Beat in thawed large Cool Whip.
  4. Fold in bananas and 1 box of cookies.
  5. Pour into a large serving bowl, top with a small container of cool whip and garnish with additional cookies.
  6. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
I like to make this the day before and let it chill in the refrigerator overnight. The flavors taste much better and the cookies soften and become cake-like.
